Dear Castleross.....
"After 58 years my mother left her family home to go to your care, it was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. However after the first few visits it became apparent that she had settled in very well and was at home in Lisdoonan House.
What was to follow over the coming years was a revelation to us, the kindness, love and compassion shown to her was heart warming. I can only describe that all who touched my mother's life in that time as a wonderful group of people, you can be justifiably proud of them as your employees and they can be proud of themselves as good human beings."
"There are no words that could ever adequately convey the depth of our gratitude for all you did for dad. Your kindness, caring, warmth, humour and patience were boundless. It is no coincidence that people in your care settle in so well and so quickly, Castleross is a home in the truest sense of the word with all the love and caring it entails.
What you do for people goes way above and beyond the job description. You are some of the most wonderful and special people who we could ever have had the privilege of meeting."
"Every so often you might encounter a wonderful experience; this is exactly what happened when my uncle Jimmy took up residence at Castleross. We were overwhelmed with the level of care, attention and love provided by the wonderful staff.
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank the management and the staff in all areas for giving Jimmy a happy and dignified time at Castleross."
"The staff sees past the Alzheimer's and were able to see Mary's personality, her sense of humour and will of steel, someone who loved music, dancing, her hair and pearls, staying up late and endless cups of tea.
We will never forget your kindness and care and we would like to thank you for the support the family received during our many visits. We know how happy Mary was at Castleross and this is clearly reflected in the beautiful album which we will treasure always."
