Winner of NHI Ancillary Work award in 2012 and part of the Castleross team since 2005, Pat, along with the rest of the maintenance team works tirelessly to ensure that Castleross is maintained to a high standard.
Rita joined the Castleross team in 2005, the Homemaker role is a key role in the “Household Model“ adopted by Castleross . Our Homemakers are in place to create a homely environment through normal daily kitchen activity and provide a warm welcome to all.
Our staff encourage the people who live here to take part in household activities and can restore the simple pleasures of a making a cup of tea in a supervised safe environment.
Gay joined Castleross in 2003 as a Carer, as Castleross village developed Gay took on a new role as a friend, support and carer to those who live in the village. As part of her role Gay accompanies the people who live in Castleross on daily bus trips and social occasions, she also is a pastoral support to the people who live both in the village and in the households.
Aoife joined Castleross as a Carer in 2007 and in 2012 was promoted to Household Coordinator. As with the Homemaker the Household Coordinator role is another key change with the introduction of “Household Model".
Aoife is responsible for the supervision of the care team provided as well as ensuring the people who live here are encouraged to maximize their potential and enjoy a variety of small group activities as well as one to one contact.
Anna has over 12 years' experience as an Administrator in Castleross.
She joined the Team in the weeks before Castleross first opened its doors in 2002 and from her front of house position has been a great support to both families and visitors.
